Shukubo (Temple Guesthouse) Information

The shukubo is Koyasan Shingon sect bessue Motoyama, and was founded by Kobo Daishi. In addition, it is the best temple of the famous Koyasan temples of the Imperial Palace of the Emperor Shirakawa.
The honbo was built in the Edo period and retains the atmosphere of the time, with many cultural properties. The guest rooms were renovated in 1985, and then again in 2008. It was renovated again in 2009 years and has a toilet washroom. The location is 5 minutes east of Soumotoyama Kongobu-ji Temple and 10 minutes from Okunoin.
It is located in the center of Yamauchi.
If you come by car, you can park inside the temple.
