Hozen-in宝善院
Shukubo (Temple Guesthouse) Information
Formerly called "Nyu-in", the name of the temple was changed to Hozen-in in 1964. The temple itself is related to the divine Niyu family. The Niu family is closely related to Kobo Daishi. At this shukubo there are many monks from the divine Tenno, and despite the succession of Norimasa, nobue, sennyu and high priests, mmonk Gyoue is famous.
The garden is a famous garden that is said to be Kobori Enshu Sakuiwa and is the oldest in the mountains of Tsurugame Shisui. The main statue is the Kanzeon Bodhisattva, which is referred to as the treasure kannon, and in addition to that there is also Amida Sanson.
