Jizo-in地蔵院
Shukubo (Temple Guesthouse) Information
Founded in (1190-98) with the opening of Zhonghai Ajarashi, it is a temple for various families including Itagaki Shimotsuma Castle’s Tagaya Family, the Kyoto Fukuchiyama Castle’s Inaba Family, the Nara Takatori Castle’s Honda Family, the Echizen Castle’s Matsudaira Family, and the Isezu Castle’s Todo Family. Jizouin and Renzoin Banikein were merged together, and it became equipped and used for lodgings, however it burned down in 1988 and was remade into a new shukubo in 1992.
