Joki-in常喜院
Shukubo (Temple Guesthouse) Information
The main protector of the shukubo is Jizo Bodhisattva. Opened by Domichi Daishi, Kobo Daishi the first disciple who entered the mountain. Chuko was a Buddhist sect and Joki-in school was established here. The shukubo was originally in Sumioin Valley but moved to Odawaraya in the Genroku period (1688). In the first year of the Tokugawa period (1864), a major fire broke out, but in 1870, it was moved to the present position and merged with Raikoin and Sanmuroin.

Fusuma is a wood-framed sliding door and partition covered with thick paper. It is movable in grooves and separates the rooms.
※The price will be higher in the case one person use one room.
※Price fluctuates according to the season.Bus guidance Take a bus from NO.3 bus stop bound for Daimon, and the nearest bus stop is Kongobuji-mae. Otherwise, take a bus from No.2 bus stop bound for Okunoin-mae, and get off at Senjuin-higashi bus stop. It takes about 5minutes from the bus stop to Joki-in temple by walk.
