Shukubo (Temple Guesthouse) Information

This shokubo was founded by Gosho Shirakawa-in Prince Ene, when Prince Keiho kills Kiso Yoshinaka Hojuji Temple due to a military disaster, he climbed up Koyasan with his precious bones and joined Ikusa-an in order to mourn the Bodhi and called him Choribo. Later renamed Komeiin.

In addition, he has a relationship with Tokushima Awakuni, pays the remains of the Hachisuka family, and mourns his family and vassal. In our shukubo, the principal statue is the statue of Amida Nyorai.

    Fusuma is a wood-framed sliding door and partition covered with thick paper.
    It is movable in grooves and separates the rooms.
