Shukubo (Temple Guesthouse) Information

Kumagai Temple was founded by Kobo Daishi's descendant, Masataka Ajarin, who gave the Imperial Prince’s request at that time. Although this shukuban was originally known as Chishikiin at that time, as the name of Kumagai was given by Prince Minami Asahi, as the name suggests, a temple with a relationship with the warlord "Jiro Naoya Kumagai" and his teacher "Honen Kamijin" for more than 1,000 years, Koyasan and the fate of history have been shared.
