Mitsugon-in密厳院
Shukubo (Temple Guesthouse) Information
Koyasan Mitsugon is a temple that is based on the opening of the Shingo Shingon sect's founder Kokyo Daishi Kakubanjojin. The Daishi was founded here and always lived here, strictly trained, and worshiped in the territory. In addition, the Daishi founded Daidenhoin in Kishu Negoroyama, laying the foundations for the Shingon Buddhism and Toyama groups. The current building was renovated in 1988 and preserves this historic site.
